Canada Day is important to us as a family as it was our first holiday as a family after the boys arrived (June28th). It just amazes me that this year starts our 5th year together.

As we gear up for Canada Day this year - I thought I would share some pictures from Canada Day 2009. I haven't scrapped much of 2010's pictures... yet - hopefully before Canada Day 2012 so I can share them next year! Haha!

Here is a layout of dad and his boys. These photos were taken last March - on the ferry on our way to a Vancouver Canucks hockey game! I found this quote when I first started scrapbooking - and I saved it until I had found the perfect photos. The quote is done in little letter stickers.. took me forever - but I love it!

The newest member to our family. Okay - we got her in December - but she's still family. She is such a character and she brings such fun to our daily lives.

Beautiful Day

Here is a layout I created in February for a contest at Scrapdango.

I love these pictures of my boys. They are playing on a Helicopter climbing apparatus. When I was younger my dad built one of these for the town I lived in. I took my boys there to see it - but sadly it had been taken down as it had been there for about 20 years. I was very happy to find this in another town.. and while it isn't quite the same.. it still is Grandpa's Helicopter to me!

June - Family Month

I have decided that this month I'm going to show case my family... I know what you are thinking... all of my layouts are of my family... but I'm going to try and show layouts of our day to day life.. not their sports - or other activities.. just us in our daily life.

This layout is a picture from 2009... I used the Fancy Pants paper and cut the words up to say Family - I had to make my own 'Y' - but feel that I did a good job.
