Swap Pages

I finally got some pictures put onto pages/border sets that I have received in swaps. I have been swapping since July 2008 and have never used a page/border set.

The other night I was putting pages into the boys' books from the weekend crop that I went to in October and realized that I was somehow way outnumbered. I really try to scrap equally and am often doing the same - or very similar - layouts for each. I was shocked to find out that I was 13 pages ahead in Brayden's book. Since I didn't want Carsyn to feel left out, I grabbed my bag of swap stuff and got to work.

Here are the layouts that I got completed. If you were the creator of any of these pages or border sets, let me know and I'll gladly give you credit!!

This page went into Brayden's book

I created these for a swap, and was smart and made two extras for my boys so each boy got one.

Disney Stocking Stuffers

Another part of the swap that I posted about last time I blogged was for Disney themed stocking stuffers.

Since I'm a lover of chocolate, I couldn't resist sending in some of our wonderful chocolate from Canada. I think I live for Aero bars.. even my hubby and kids would agree. Kids love Smarties... similar to M & M's.. but different. :) And the yummy Coffee Crisp... even my kids love it.. the 'coffee' flavour is subtle but oh so good. I love them and I don't drink coffee.

The best thing about these three chocolate bars is they are made in a peanut free factory, so those, like me, who are deathly allergic to peanuts can still enjoy chocolate without the fear of "May Contain Peanuts".

I did four spots in the swap.. here are my:

Mickey and Friends

Princess'

Boy Characters - Lightning McQueen

Girl Characters - Tink

Disney Themed Gift Card Holders

I joined a swap on Splitcoast... I know.. surprise surprise...

These Gift Card Holders were to have a Disney theme. I went with a more teen/adult theme and tried to make the "Disney" a little more subtle.

To make 5 holders I used 1 2/3rds of glitter cardstock from a DCVW stack.
I cut the strips to be 3.75 x 12 inches.

I made score lines at 3.25, 6.5 and 9.75 and then folded the cardstock up.

The Disney paper inside was all scraps from my stash and matted on scraps. I used a litte strip of Mickey themed paper as the 'holder' for the gift card.. the black piece of paper is just to show where the gift card goes.

I then corner rounded the front flap and punched a hole for the ribbon to be tied to. I use black, with white polka dots, sheer ribbon bought at Michael's.

I'm pretty happy with them and hope the Swap recipients like them as much as I do.

BBQ Layout

This layout was for a swap on Splitcoast.

I love Riley the Moose and couldn't resist putting him on here.

I used silver Smooch on the bbq and utensils and I also used green flock on his apron.

Pirates of the Caribbean and Spring Layouts

Ok.. so they really don't go together... but hey.. it's a post. :)

I created these two layouts last weekend when I went to a crop.

These are two of my all time favourite layouts.

This layout is for a Disney swap I'm hosting on Splitcoaststampers.

This layout is for a 4 Season swap that is hosted by butterflygirl2878

Last of the months.......

Here are the last photos from the Month LOTW swap that I hosted.

There were some amazing letters and I hope to make a calendar (or two) from the letters I received.
