I joined a swap on Splitcoast... I know.. surprise surprise...
These Gift Card Holders were to have a Disney theme. I went with a more teen/adult theme and tried to make the "Disney" a little more subtle.
To make 5 holders I used 1 2/3rds of glitter cardstock from a DCVW stack.
I cut the strips to be 3.75 x 12 inches.
I made score lines at 3.25, 6.5 and 9.75 and then folded the cardstock up.
The Disney paper inside was all scraps from my stash and matted on scraps. I used a litte strip of Mickey themed paper as the 'holder' for the gift card.. the black piece of paper is just to show where the gift card goes.
I then corner rounded the front flap and punched a hole for the ribbon to be tied to. I use black, with white polka dots, sheer ribbon bought at Michael's.
I'm pretty happy with them and hope the Swap recipients like them as much as I do.
