I take so many pictures that sometimes I just love to get pictures on the pages and don't worry too much about the "extras".
Here is a cute border set that I got at the dollar store.
Similar layout - just different pics for each boy. This is Christmas 2008.

I always think the best part about scrap pages is first the pics then the journaling. All the extras are just that....frill. Your pages are great!
