Crafty Critters Challenge #6

Here is my layout for the Crafty Critters challenge.

I chose a photo from my wedding day. I loved writing this short message to the boys.. the journaling reads...

May 17, 2003.... Your dad and I were married on this day. We had a fabulous day, with our family and friends. This day and the day we met you and your brother tie for being the best day(s) of my life. I love this picture because I can see how happy we were, and still are.

My Poor Neglected Blog

My poor little blog must feel so neglected. I can't figure out a way to make myself post here more often. I really want to, but it just doesn't seem to happen. I think part of the problem is that I can't upload my pictures directly to this computer - for whatever reason neither the card reader nor the usb cord works. So I have to upload to the laptop, put them on a zip drive and then transfer them... ugghh! I promised myself that while the hubby takes the boys to see the Transformers today, I have absconded with his laptop (which is really mine, but he has taken it over) and get the photos downloaded. I haven't been crafting too much - but I do have some things to share. I've done about a 1000 LOTWs and still have several hundred more to complete. I also realized that I had neglected to take photos of a bunch of the LOTWs, so I have to try and remember to take pictures when they come back.

These LOTWs are for Tracey's LOTW Zoo swap.

I also had to make a couple of cards for the husband, his birthday was the day before Father's Day. I had fun spending the evening with the boys making cards. I'm so impressed with the boys cards.. I helped with a few colour choices - they both have colour deficiencies, so they don't always see good colour matches. Here is what we all made.

On Wednesday night I went to our LSS for the late night 'Crop and Shop'. I was able to get a bunch of Christmas cards done for Kel's "Christmas Headstart" swap. I was behind for June and managed to get July's done as well - hooray - I'm ahead and I can save on shipping and send them both in the same envelope - I'm always looking for ways to give the Post Office less money! I think that's it for now... the kids are out of school for summer and more importantly, we only have 27 more days until we leave for Disneyland!! I am going to do my best to update more often... but we all know how life often gets in the way of our creative time!
